LE BREAK À L’OEUVRE (2022) — DOCU-PERFORMANCE
Dans le cadre de la première édition de l’Événement hip-hop en Haute-Gaspésie, le collectif de break Sweet technique a participé à un tournage électrisant à la Maison de la culture de Sainte-Anne-des-Monts le 9 janvier 2022. Lors de ce tournage, les artistes ont livré une performance époustouflante en plus de partager leur vision du break dans le cadre d’entretiens avec le réalisateur Jonathan Gaudreau.
Le break à l’œuvre (Break at Work) is a 42-minute performance-documentary that chronicles the journey of three high-caliber artists from Sweet Technique and highlights the challenges of a dance that is both individual and collective, artistic and athletic. With robust performances that showcase the artists’ total commitment, the film offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of break dancing today, from the perspective of a Canadian collective.
