From Montreal North to C\u00f4te-des-Neiges, via the metropolises of New York and Las Vegas, the two artists approach dance by focusing on its social and political force, in open-hearted interviews whose considerations go far beyond the practice of dance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Punctuated by electrifying performances and documentary footage shot in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts as part of the 2nd edition of Mandoline Hybride&#8217;s hip-hop event, this docu-performance pays tribute to two great figures of Quebec dance. She is an artist, writer, dancer, choreographer, teacher and consultant in street dance and intergenerational hip-hop. Her credits as a performer and choreographer have taken her to some highly respected stages, including Cirque du Soleil&#8217;s The Beatles &#8211; LOVE, as the main character and coach for locking and hip-hop rehearsals. She currently performs with the Canadian Bboyizm Dance Company. Her expertise has earned her numerous international positions as a judge for elite dance competitions, she also gives workshops and lectures internationally. In addition, she uses her voice to help and inspire artists from all walks of life to find their purpose. He is also the main DJ of Q-052, having taken part in the anti-colonial WAKE UP THE WORLD tour in 2019. While electronic diversity is becoming more and more prevalent each year on the nightlife scene, Mr. Nokturn prioritizes ancient art. By mixing classical melodies and underground laments, the artist delivers performances that are both classical and spectacular. Dance, culture, commitment and anarchism are the main elements of his practice. Il cumule \u00e0 ce jour plus d\u2019une trentaine de victoires et est r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement invit\u00e9 \u00e0 participer \u00e0 des comp\u00e9titions autour du monde, parfois \u00e0 titre de participant, parfois \u00e0 titre de juge. Passionn\u00e9 par la ma\u00eetrise du corps, il entreprend une formation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole de danse contemporaine de Montr\u00e9al, dont il sortira dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 en 2015. Depuis sa sortie, il a travaill\u00e9 avec Animals Of Distinction, Wants &amp; Needs, Castel_Blast, le Groupe RUBBERBANDance, 14 lieux, Lilith &amp; Cie et Susanna Hood. D\u00e9sireux de poursuivre sa recherche artistique, Sovann raffine son approche de la danse \u00e0 travers ses propres cr\u00e9ations et les diff\u00e9rents ateliers qu\u2019il enseigne.
